William Montgomery, Vice President Healthcare, Sprint

Bill Montgomery, National Director of Healthcare, leads the Healthcare Industry Segment at Sprint Nextel, Inc.   In this role, he is responsible for all healthcare strategy, sales, solutions and partnerships. Bill has over 27 years of IT experience including 23 years as a CIO in academic medical institutions. He has worked at the Albany Medical Center affiliated with Union University, the New England Medical Center affiliated with Tufts University, the Fletcher Medical Center affiliated with the University of Vermont and Shands Healthcare affiliated with the University of Florida.  Bill holds a B.A. degree from Syracuse University and an M.H.S degree from Union College. Bill has been a strong industry leader and participant of the leading technology associations in the country.   He has been on the Boards of Trustees for Healthcare Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS) and the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME).
