Tim Boulton, Head of Healthcare Business Relations, BT Group

Tim has worked for BT for 10 years. Previous employers have included the BBC, Abbey National, Bank of Scotland, Kingfisher, and Cable & Wireless. He has a wide range of business experience from the strategic to the expedient and particularly likes partnering. He has worked with Government, Broadcasting/Media, Finance & Banking, Retail and Travel. Tim is now Head of Business Relations within BT’s health business and is responsible for developing relationships with healthcare ICT providers. He has spent 5 years working on government related business – mostly in health.
Tim chairs Intellect's Healthcare Council, a group representing some 250 companies who supply products and services to the NHS and private healthcare organisations. He is also a member of the UKTI Healthcare Advisory Group as well as being a VP of Intellect. Married to Ruth for 26 years, Tim spends his spare time running a local church and renovating a 16th century cottage in the Cévennes.
