Peter Haigh, FHIMSS, Principal, Tele-Mobile Healthcare Solutions

Peter Haigh is a respected authority on information technology and communications networking expertise in healthcare, with more than 30 years total experience.  He holds an MA from the University of Cambridge, where he was a State Scholar.  Peter is a Fellow of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS), in recognition of his expertise in healthcare IT and his service to the society and its members.   He has recently founded Tele-Mobile Healthcare Solutions, a consultancy focused on the conception of “mobility” solutions that revolutionize healthcare diagnosis and treatment Peter’s work involves advising healthcare institutions on current and future telecom technology and how it can be applied to create innovative, money-saving solutions.  He serves as Chair of the Executive Committee for M3 a collaborative project between Verizon and New York-Presbyterian Health System, which has created a personal computing-communications device (an M3) which provides a complete application set from e-mail to EMR.  M3s are capable of anywhere anytime anything access, such that physicians and clinicians are equipped to save lives and $ at the same time.  It has been dubbed “the stethoscope of the future.”
