Paul H. Keckley, PhD, Exec. Director, Vanderbilt Ctr for Evidence-based Medicine

Paul Keckley is a healthcare entrepreneur, analyst, and market strategist. He currently serves as Senior Advisor to EBM Solutions, a company that licenses evidence-based guidelines to health plans and hospitals he founded with Vanderbilt, Duke, Emory and Washington University-St. Louis in 1999. He also serves as a Senior Fellow in the Vanderbilt Center for Better Health where he conducts research on market trends in the healthcare industry with a special interest in healthcare consumerism, medical informatics, and evidence-based medicine. He serves as an adviser to several healthcare organizations in developing strategies to optimize market positioning and focus strategic efforts and is a frequent participant in board and senior management retreats.  He is a Director of InterDent, the largest dental practice management company in the U.S. headquartered in Los Angeles and eHealth Initiative, a trade organization focused on healthcare technology innovation and public policy. He received a BA from Lipscomb University and his MA and PhD from Ohio State University. In 1972, he conducted research at Oxford University in economic policy as a University Fellow.
