Lisa S.  Ponton. JD, Vice President, Human Resources, Brigham and Women's Hospital

Ms. Ponton received her B.A. degree from Spelman College and both her Masters Degree and Law Degree from the University of Pittsburgh. Lisa joined BWH in November of 2005.  Previously, Lisa was an executive at Vanderbilt University and Medical Center in Nashville, TN, where she was the senior director of Human Resources overseeing employee services including recruitment (Medical Center and University Central), Vanderbilt Temporary Services, employee and labor relations,  training and organizational development and international services.  Lisa is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania, Florida, Washington D.C. and Tennessee.  In addition, she is an approved Rule 31 Mediator for the state of Tennessee in both Civil and Family Mediation.  Lisa has been an active member of SHRM since 1989 and has made several presentations over the years on issues relating to surviving an OFCCP audit, Managing Leaves of Absences and Documenting Employment Practices.
