Herbert R. Williams, Partners HealthCare

Herb Williams is the Enterprise Solutions Manager within the Information Systems, Telecommunications group at Partners HealthCare System in Boston, MA.  His responsibilities span the hospital facilities where he is responsible for all wireless voice initiatives, VoIP, wireless VoIP, PDA handhelds and telephony-based enterprise solutions. Current initiatives include an in-building/campus multi-carrier wireless infrastructure platform, wireless email server-based solutions, VoIP and clinical based mobile applications and communication within a hospital environment.   Herb brings a range of experience at senior management positions with industry leading organizations such as Openwave, EDS, AT&T, and Sprint.  Additionally, Herb has written several industry research reports for leading market research firms, trade magazines and white papers on the wireless and VoIP industry. He holds a BS, in Mathematics and Economics and a Masters in Business Administration.
