Chris Ryan, SHPS' Chief Strategy and Marketing Officer
Chris is accountable for developing SHPS' strategy in the emerging healthcare consumerism market, promoting SHPS as the leading provider of these solutions and collaborating with employer and partner market segments to define and deliver healthcare consumerism services to the marketplace. Prior to his current role, Chris served as SHPS vice president of market strategy and research, where he was a principle architect in building the content framework and foundation for SHIPS' integrated healthcare delivery system – a model that integrates SHPS' healthcare and benefits administration products into a modular program that can be customized to meet the diverse needs of clients and business partners. Chris is a noted author and has been cited in the Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, Investor’s Business Daily, HR Magazine and Employee Benefit News. Previously, Chris worked for Hewitt Associates, Arthur Andersen, Watson Wyatt and Deloitte & Touche. He is a graduate of the University of Chicago and holds a bachelor of arts degree in physics. He also holds a master of business administration degree in marketing and management policy from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
