Mr. Montana is Director of Business Development at Partners HealthCare, where his work centers on the establishment of strategic alliances with industry partners in an effort to advance the Partners’ Vision for an Academic Medical Center. His focuses are in the areas of drug discovery, molecular diagnostics/Personalized Medicine, Connected Health and genetics/genomics. Before coming to Partners, John worked for Putnam Associates, a Burlington, MA-based management consulting firm, specializing in Pharma and Biotech strategy.  His work included assessing licensing opportunities for big pharma, developing novel sales force compensation strategy and building market intelligence through primary and secondary research.

Mr. Montana holds an AM from Harvard University, and BS, cum laude from Tufts University.
